We styled a garden inspired Love In Bloom themed baby shower brunch in Manhattan’s Upper West Side for the adorable parents-to-be Swati and Laurent. The couple was expecting a baby girl, so for color and theme, we played off pink and coral hues and rustic elements of the invitation into the design.
The brunch was held at the event space in the couple’s uptown apartment building. We took advantage of the open concept and outdoor patio which allowed room for guest to enjoy the beautiful summer day and cool-off indoors for the brunch buffet and beverages. For the décor, we incorporated floral elements into every detail, large and small. The indoor walls and floor to ceiling glass windows were adorned with beautifully crafted, over sized paper flowers. Exquisite flower arrangements atop moss table runners highlighted the garden theme and added bright pops of color to the neutral tones of the event space. A variety of pinks, orange and peach roses with succulents adorned the dessert bar and served as the beautiful finishing touches to the white, two-tier cake. Elegant custom cookies were not only delicious but served as another floral accent on the dessert bar. We created custom signage for the food, beverage and activity stations throughout, incorporating craft paper and flowers to match the color scheme.
Guests included friends, family and children so the parents-to-be wanted to include fun activities during the celebration. The outdoor space was the perfect setting for these activity stations which included a onesie decorating station, face painting, balloon making and wishes for baby station. We loved seeing all of the creative artwork in the decorated onesies and the face painting was a huge hit with the children!
It was such a pleasure working with Swati and Laurent in bringing their vision of a blooming garden to fruition while celebrating the arrival of their little girl! Love was truly in full bloom on this very special day!
